Cuttle in the Night
These amazing animals can instantly alter the patterns and colours of their skin by contracting thousands of individual micro muscles. It's a shame that such an incredibly smart animal only lives for a year or two before passing away to make room for the next generation. I could swim and interact with cuttlefish all day, their curious calm and self-assured nature is fascinatingly fantastic! Shot taken beneath Blairgowrie Marina on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Photographed by myself, Matt Testoni.
